Our Charters Towers Neighbourhood Centre were looking for much-needed space for a Respite Centre and so Fraser House has been granted to them for a period of a year to provide this service to the town.  Bright and cheery, the staff have renovated a section of the building with help from local tradies and the centre is now in operation.  It is hoped that we can work with the Neighbourhood Centre to provide more services in this building for people in town as well as people staying at Kernow, such as a spa, therapy centre and other similar facilities.

Pool Progress

Progress has been made on the pool area, with just the inside of the pool to be lined, lights added and plants and poolside furniture to be added.  The pool area will be available for private parties if all poolside apartments are booked for the occasion.

Lake Site Clearance

We managed to secure a dozer to clear the proposed lake site of pest weeds and as seen from the photo it reveals the true potential for the site for lifestyle land blocks and the lake. We are now working on detailed plans for the configuration of the site and hope to have up to 100 land blocks available for off-plan purchase within the next three months.

Whilst clearing away unwanted vegetation it has enabled us to see the potential for the lake site. Work is underway to set out land blocks for the proposed lake site surrounding area.

Kernow Hosts Classic Car Rally

It was our pleasure to host a drive around of the Classic Car Rally at Easter and see such a varied collection of classic cars. We look forward to hosting a number of such events at the grounds here at Kernow.
